The concept of the order of creation in Nahj al-Balagha, particularly in explaining the structure and relations governing the universe, provides a basis for dialogue between Islamic theology and contemporary philosophy of science. Within complexity science, self-organization theory examines the conditions and processes through which ordered patterns and organized structures emerge from interactions among components of complex systems.
